Application on the type of stone: Polished & rough texture surface marble, limestone, granite, slate, Terra-Cotta, homogeneous tiles and all types of natural stone.

Poultice Procedures:

• Step 1: Prepare the poultice.
  Mix SCL-PPP Poultice Powder with SCL-OE2 chemical into a thick paste about the consistency of creamy peanut butter.
• Step 2: Apply the poultice.
  Carefully apply the poultice(i.e. the paste) to the stained area. Not too thin, generally about 1/4 inch thick is sufficient for most stains.
• Step 3: Cover the poultice.
  Cover the poultice with a thin plastic sheet or a plastic food wrap. Tape the poultice with a low adhesive paper masking tape.
• Step 4: Remove the poultice.
  After the poultice is thoroughly dry and harden approximate 24hours later, sweep it off or scrape it off with a spatula. Dispose them in a plastic bag. Remove the paste only if the paste is thoroughly dry. Do not remove the paste unnecessarily for viewing. Generally, removed penetrated oil stain out of natural stone required 2 to 3 attempts.

Precautions:

• If contacted with eyes, wash the affected area with plenty of water. Call for a physician.
• Wash hands thoroughly before meal-time.
• Keep out of Reach of Children.

Stain removal is a trial & error process. Every stain should be treated as a unique situation. It helps if the nature of the stain could be identified.
