Descriptions of SCL-748Clear Enhancer Sealer

• It adds vibrant color to the fading polished surface marble and granite stone. Same time it effectively prevent water-based fluids from entering into the porous stone and prevent algae growths.
• In addition, its enhancing property is capable to temporarily camouflage mild “soap scum” stain(i.e. the whitish mark) which is commonly seen on bathroom’s shower wall. 748sealer can be frequently used if polishing is not intended. However, if “soap scum” is preferred to be properly removed and restored the marble back to its original stage, adopt using “SCL Easy Shine Marble Polishing kit”.

Application on the type of stone: Suitable to use on polished and unpolished texture stone surface and other porous materials that any materials could absorb the sealer.

Direction to use:

• Wash the stone surface with SCL Stoneclean X-tra solution first and make the surface dry prior to apply SCL 748Clear Enhancer Sealer.
• Remove the inner metal cap of the sealer’s container with the help of a metal scrapper.
• Stir the sealer well before use. Stir with a disposable chopstick.
• Pour a small amount of sealer into a disposable plastic bowl. Dip a clean dry cloth into the sealer and rub the sealer onto the stone surface. Rub in a circular motion and rub the sealer to the entire surface.
• Prepare many pieces of old rags or paper towels. Almost immediate after the sealer’s application, wipe away the excessive sealer with the old rags/paper towels until the stone surface is free from oily feeling.
• Do not allow the surface to contact with water for 24hours(minimum) to 48hours after sealer’s application.

Cautions:

• Test a small area first especially when SCL 748Clear Enhancer Sealer is intended to apply on rough texture granite. In some case, 748Clear Enhancer Sealer may darken the stone texture giving an uneven dark tone appearance. If this happened, this characteristic of rough texture granite is not suitable to apply with SCL 748Clear Enhancer Sealer. You may consider to apply the unpolished stone with SCL Clear Enhancer Sealer instead of SCL 748Clear Enhancer Sealer.
• Do not apply SCL 748Clear Enhancer Sealer on all types of flooring.
• It causes slipperiness and causes foot print mark.
